I don't remember what i was looking for but i came across the official Ben Davis myspace page. If you are not familiar with Ben Davis, allow me to fill you in.
Ben Davis clothing was started in 1935 by the grandson of the man who helped to create the first pair of Levi's jeans. It is a line of clothing that has been deeply embraced by the Rap music scene as well as the Chicano scene. It has been worn and referenced by tons of artists like Ice Cube and the Beastie Boys. I remember back when i was in middle school El Paso got hit with Ben Davis fever and all the stores that sold "gangster" apparel were full stocked with clothes that featured the furry little monkey. Alas though as is most things in El Paso the fad faded and now it is slightly harder to find Ben Davis clothes. I think El Paso moved on to the raver scene after that and then went on to the punk rock scene. El Paso sucks like that, a city full of people not doing things for themselves but more to avoid being alienated by all the other douche bags that live here.
